real estate victoria bc canada General Information

Hard selling is the mantra for marketing and the agent will do this for you. A slight mistake in prediction or a change in the legislation concerning real estate property or tourism or industry sector has the potential to turn over the whole real estate economy on its head resulting in wiping out of your capital too. Take a scenario, for example. Agents should identify and emphasize certain selling points to convince the buyers. Statistics too reveal that housing is a risk free investment.* Market research is one of the main safety measure that an agent has to undertake in order to be able to price the property without under or over pricing. All is fine when market booms but tough gets the going when things go awry. Why The Rush To Invest In Real Estate?* Falling stock market has generated fear psychosis among the investment community reminding them of the Great Depression.* In case of mortgage loans, the cash flow by way of rents will continually reduce the principal borrowed. Judgment in salability can’t be accurate; however lack of alertness and awareness for correcting mistakes almost invariably puts paid to investments. The agent can buy or sell the property only if the people are comfortable with him in buying or selling it. Rising interest rates may divert the investors as the memory of the dotcom bust is still fresh. This will interest the buyer. The case will be worse for smaller players with this condition. However, there is legal redress available for this.7 Nothing like

Victoria (IPA: /vɪkˈtɔəriə/) is the capital city of British Columbia, making it the seat of the provincial Crown. Located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, Victoria is a global tourism destination seeing more than 3.65 million visitors a year who inject more than one billion dollars into the local economy. Victoria is a cruise ship port where cruise liners stop at Ogden Point terminal. The city also receives economic benefits from its close proximity to Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt, the Canadian military’s main Pacific naval base. Downtown Victoria also serves as Greater Victoria's regional downtown, where many night clubs, theatres, restaurants and pubs are clustered, and where much larger regional public events occur. In particular, Canada Day fireworks displays and Symphony Splash concerts draw tens of thousands of Greater Victorians and visitors to the downtown core.

The city has hosted sports events including the 2005 Ford World Men's Curling Championship tournament, the 1994 Commonwealth Games, and 2006 Skate Canada. Victoria co-hosted the 2007 FIFA U-20 World Cup at Royal Athletic Park, and is the annual venue for the Bastion Square Grand Prix Criterium road cycling race. The city is also a destination for conventions, meetings, and conferences, including a 2007 North Atlantic Treaty Organization military chief of staff meeting.
